Weber head value

PostPost by: lotocone » Mon Jun 19, 2023 5:26 pm

Hi all, I have a Weber head that I've never used and I'd like to sell it. Can anyone give me an estimated value?
I have the cam bearing caps. Some studs are missing. I'll attach some photos. Thanks for any input.

A detail buyers would want to know is, if it has ever been skimmed. Include a measurement with
the photos.

Thanks Greg. I'll check on that question.
Will add photos once I resize them.

also of help photos showing each of the chambers (esp. the area between plug hole and valve seat), and area under the head bolts (deformations potentially showing indication of issues) - specifications as well (valves diameter, eventual porting ...)

Depends on how much work it needs. Last fall I paid $1000 for a Weber head. It needed $2800 worth of work before it was ready to bolt to the block.
