Spyder motor mounts

PostPost by: seniorchristo » Mon Dec 19, 2022 10:30 pm

Instructions from Spyder say to invert the standard Lotus motor mount to retain the fail safe properties. It looks to me that if the rubber fails the motor will now drop. Can some one explain please. Thanks

For a spyder chassis, you mount the arm to the engine and the engine mount to the chassis (with outer forming a U shape). I believe the arms are sided so care is needed to use the correct arm on each side of the engine.
