Original Cooling fan

Hi My 1969 plus 2 came with an Electric fan in the box of parts .
My Question is Did my car come out the factory with an engine driven cooling fan ?
I want my restoration to be as original as possible things like Cellulose paint, doughnuts ,wheels tyres etc .
I guess it did because the electric fan looks to me as being fitted to help with the overheating problems

Supplementary Question where would I get a fan from ?
