Hello Guys
I am just putting my twincam head back together today and looking at the cam sprockets they both seem identical. I thought they were supposed to be different. I know the cams are the same. Both sprockets have offset dowels in them,
Guidance appreciated!
Many thanks
Berni

Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.

Both cam sprockets as well as the jackshaft sprocket are the same, the only difference is that the exhaust sprocket and the inlet sprocket have their timing mark one tooth different (no mark on the jackshaft sprocket) normally only the exhaust sprocket was etched by Lotus with (EXH)
After market sprockets are usually etched and marked with both IN and EXH so they can be used on either.

Hi Brian
Mystery solved thank you. I have looked at some pictures on the great and wise internet and it seems these are QED items according to the markings.
Thanks again
