Standard Thrust Bearing Thickness

PostPost by: rgh0 » Wed Feb 16, 2022 10:34 am

Someone asked me the thickness of a standard thrust bearing and I have lost who and when :)

I get lots of PMs and other questions and sometimes it takes time to dig out the data and respond

However for whoever asked !!

Standard thrust bearing unworn thickness appears to be 2.34mm +/- 0.01mm based on measuring a large sample of new and used bearings.

Oversize thrust bearings are typically in 0.005 inch increments from this but not all increments are available currently from what I see.

cheers
