Plus 2 Radiator Brackets

The radiator on my Plus 2 is secured to the body by two crudely bent pieces of aluminium. Are these brackets listed on Ebay the correct items ?. I don't see them listed separately anywhere so I'm not sure what they should look like.

Apart from early examples, the +2 had a narrow radiator fitted with large brackets/wings filling up the space (both from a Triumph Spitfire). Those brackets look correct for the narrow radiator. You can see them fitted to a radiator in another ebay item https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324852730019.

You might also try Spyder. From them I have purchased a few original +2 parts which are removed for a Zetec conversion. I doubt very much that they retain the original water radiator mounts in their conversion.

What am I missing? The ones in your original post on eBay are the correct ones...
I agree that the ones shown on Ebay are correct but they might also be gone. Supply chains are tight everywhere.

In which case I no doubt have a spare pair in my basement somewhere.....

They are being auctioned not fixed price. The starting bid is ok but I don't want to pay much more so will just keep an eye on it.

The radiator brackets on eBay do not seem to have the the 90 degree angle pieces which attach them to the body shell. Perhaps you still have these with your aluminum brackets. The Lotus part numbers for these are 050 K 0063 and 050 K 0064. Another important item is the pair of blanking plates which help to lessen the amount of air that "leaks" over the top of the radiator brackets when you want all of the air entering the nose to go through the radiator core. The Lotus part numbers for the blanking plates are A050 K 0082 and A050 K0083. I see there is also a set of these blanking plates also on eBay.

Thanks, would you mind posting a link to the blanking plates as I don't see them when I perform a search.

In retrospect, looking at my radiator position in the photos (I don't have access to it just now to measure it) and looking at that radiator assembly on Ebay, I think I have the earlier wide radiator hence the wide brackets aren't required. This being so, what are the original brackets that would need to be used ?.
