valve sizes

Does anyone have an opinion what valve sizes I should use as follows. I'm building a 1700 tall block with camshafts of 280 duration and .385" lift, 10.5 to 1 compression. I don't plan on extensive head work, only to open up the ports in the area of the valve seats. I'm thinking 1.625" intake and 1.375 exhaust.

Yes I would go for those valve sizes but probably also a higher lift cam with similar timing
