aftermarket camshafts

Hi everyone

I have one question about aftermarkets camshafts sold by QED :

There is no information about inlet or exhaust camshafts in the choice ?
does it mean only inlet is to be changed ? and genuine exhaust should be run with it ?

Inlet and exhaust cams on a Lotus Twin Cam are normally installed as identical pairs so no distinction is needed. The timing difference is taken care off by the cam timing sprockets. On developed engines you may choose to use a different inlet from exhaust cam depending on exactly what you're trying to achieve with the engine development you are doing

I have QED 420 cams and am a very happy bunny. I expect that there are more super cams out there as Rohan says but for everyday fast road QED 420s get my vote. Lots of power and very tractable.

I've had them on my engine for years now.
The mechanic who built my engine was a little scared of the timing, quite different from what he had with Piper's cams for example. He eventually bought a pair for his own Elan.
On my next engine, I will ask for them too.
