Hi

What is the best Camshaft for a fast Road twin cam engine?
I’m thinking in the Q360. Are there many differences between the q360 and the q420?

The question to ask is how do you want to drive it and at what rev range.
On what roads and what is the max speed limit.
Imho i find with my Elan Sprint the Cams are spot on.

Twisty roads. I prefer mid range power to use better the power. I live in a Island and the mountain roads are twisty and sometimes the distant from one curve to another is too short...

I would say lift, mostly (the number being lift value in thousands of an inch, i.e. 0.36" vs. 0.42" or something the like) - then duration of Q420 is likely a bit longer than Q360 (opening 270 vs 280 ?) - if we were to keep the discussion at word level rather than specs or other technicalities, I would be tempted to say Q360 is "road" as being supposedly a Spring equivalent, while Q420 is commonly coined as "fast road".
