Another question - as big valve engines were sold in the USA, but were equipped with Strombergs what cam cover was fitted? If it was the ribbed Big Valve version, did it have the bridge pice cast into the inlet cam side to take the little 'L' bracket for the throttle cable?
Thanks in anticipation
Matt

I have a TC Europa, red ribbed cam cover but no throttle cable mount, which was incorporated into the secondary throttle / inlet manifold casting.

Mine has a bracket screwed on to one of the valve cover studs which I think I’ve seen on quite a few others, the second one I added to capture the cable for the bonnet release that’s on the right hand side, Gordon Sauer

Here’s mine, but it’s on Weber’s so doesn’t need it
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine!

Thanks guys I think we can assume there was just the single design of ribbed cam covers.
