FILLER NECK / THERMOSTAT HOUSING COMBINED

Big thank you to Trevor for his photos showing the full thermofiller kit fitted to his 69 elan. He has fitted the 20 pound cap with the blanked recuperation valve to the existing radiator filler neck and put a 13 pound vented cap on the thermofiller at the top of the engine. He has done a nice re siting job on his Tudor caged recuperation bottle, to the wing just below the thermofiller housing. We have manufacture some full width elan's and fat boy radiators with no filler neck fitted and provided them with the thermofiller for coolant filling.

This reads to me like a scam, or at least very odd.
The website is legit, and has a field for entering a discount (coupon) code.
Very odd to send payment to a bank account which who knows if it is linked to the merchant.
Sending credit card info via email is also highly suspect as the merchant is able to take cards via their site. The email address provided does however match that listed on the website.
paypal account email does not match the domain of the merchant.
Seems to me they could simply ask to enter the order online then ask us to enter a note somewhere (like in the coupon code field) on the order to indicate the lotuselan.net discount.

I take it the last comments are from someone new to the site!!!
Coolex has been a vendor and a sponsor of the the Lotus Elan Net site for the last 7 years and in the days when there was a vendors page this "ways to pay" option was listed on all of our products. If you would care type "Coolex" in the search box you will see the comments that have come back from members and appreciate what high regard we are held in and the high regard that we hold the members. You are correct that there is a voucher box on the ready made website that we have purchased and we hope to have the back end sorted to be able to issue members with a voucher code within the next 3 weeks. This message in the main was put on to answer the girth of world wide inquiries, who have asked us for means to purchase the Thermoneck as soon as possible. Our company has been in existence since 1976 and has never operated any sort of "scam" in that time.

Here is a wholehearted endorsement for the folks at Coolex. I purchased a full-width aluminum radiator from them about 3 years ago. The product is well-made and they made the transaction and shipping to the U.S. easy and seamless. No more cooling problems!
I was lucky enough to score one of Clive?s last thermonecks. His departure from the market left a huge void and Coolex?s decision to offer a similar product is welcome and needed.
Thanks for continuing to support the eclectic Elan community, Steve!

I think my post was misunderstood, mainly because I didn't fully explain myself.
I was in no way intending to disparage Coolex.
My assertion (poorly communicated) was that it appeared to me someone was trying to take advantage of Coolex and their unsuspecting customers by using a legitimate website as bait to get folks to send money to another, non Coolex, recipient.
It appears I am wrong, so apologies all around.

I am a big fan of Coolex, and have been in conversation with Steve a couple of times about his plans for a thermostat housing. I will be purchasing one on Monday.
