....why would anyone want to paint the inside their cam cover?
Surely once this paint starts to flake off those little crumbs of nastiness are straight into your engine?

There are some special oil shedding paints that you can paint the inside of your engine with. The are designed to help oil drain back to the sump quickly rather than hang up in the engine. At the most the improvement is small and i have never thought it worth the effort
