Hi, Can anyone tell me what 4 cylinder block cast numbers (2737E6015B) would be from and is it suitable to use for twincam block?

Thanks, Mike

Mk1 Transit and Mk2 Cortina - it's a 1600 block that uses a 77.62mm stroke crank.
Can be used for a Twincam but you either need specific pistons (tall block pistons) or deck the block by 5.75mm if using with standard Lotus pistons and the 2737e con rods.

The Dave Bean Elan catalog has a page (and the parts) to perform the conversion without decking the block. PM me your email and I can forward the scanned pages.

Dan
There is no cure for Lotus, only treatment.
