Mike,
Can't help you with the poly v belt drive. I have fitted a toothed belt drive (Gilmer drive) kit from Burton Power in the UK. I run the belt quite loose, and the side load on the water pump is minimal. The kit includes three pulleys and the belt.

The kit from Burton Power looks interesting but it look like it only connects the crank to the water pump, what about the alternator?

Thanks,
Mr.Gale

Ah Mr Gale,
Well spotted.
This is the actual item I have: FP225DK. Doesn't actually say it is for the TC, but fits and has been fine for the past 6 years.

This kit is for an alternator shaft size of 15mm. There is also a kit for 17mm alt' shaft size.
Cheers,
Colin.

As shown above the x-flow kit works with a Twin Cam. So going with that is it possible that this poly v kit that also is for an x-flow would work with a Twin Cam?

As a slight aside has anyone come across this front end drive arrangement before or is it most likely a home brew of parts?
