Sump Pan - Car Type?

I am trying to get hold of a sump pan for my twin cam. I have been advised that they were fitted to Mk2 711M block Cortinas as well??

Hi William, I believe you are correct. What you need is a sump from a "6 bolt" crank engine with a front bowl. It does not need to be 711M. Escort bowls were to the rear because of the suspension cross member. I think they are now quite difficult to get , good luck.
