No2 Plug Fouling

Dear All

Went to the steam fair on Sunday,on arrival it was running rough,plug inspection showed No2 fouled...replaced with good plug and all was well...went to investigate today and found No2 fouled again ( oil or petrol?..not sure )

Plugs 1/3/4 are fine,brown/light brown central electrode,dark outer wheras No2 was black,not oily not really wet.

But stuck the scope down the cylinders and here...Look wet around the crown of carbon?

Have yet to do a compassion test but I've never seen anything like it...your opinions please...

Timing,Plug grade,Air leak,Too rich,Burning oil?

John - I'm really sorry for the problem you're having.

John,

I would do a leak down and compression test. One should tell the story.

re thought it ?..a bad wire to two or at cap?causing nict blitzen??..INJECTION HUH? ?..BETTER HUH ??ed

Wasted spark ignition,fuel injection,Megasquirt..

Tomorrow,will swap plugs 2 and 3 , also injectors 1 and 2 , leak down tester on order ( much more civilised than a compression tester )

I forgot the Mega squirt, might be on to it with a stuck injector. It should run bad with that though and lots of black smoke.

You might get it running and pull the injector power lead from the injector. If it is flooded it will possibly rev up as it clears fuel out and then of course will die with no fuel.
