Mild steel exhausts, who wants one?

I've vented my dislike of Stainless Steel exhausts before and I had one on my S2 for eight or nine years though I wasn't the main driver at the time. Then I got tired of the noise and went back to Mild Steel and the second set of them is now perforating.
There appears not to be a source in the UK but according to St Wilkins this is because there is no demand! But he would get some made provided there would be an order for ten (per type) and the price would be much less than for StainlesS.
So who, in the UK (and perhaps Europe) will join me to put some money up-front with an order for the early pattern intermediate pipe and tail-box (S3 bent pipe form)? If requests for another six exhausts are forthcoming, I'm taking two myself, I will take the risk and order the ten from Miles. Estimated price, including VAT but not delivery, is less than ?150 for the set and I will not be taking a cut.
If numbers are short then I have another option but the price would be higher.

Meg,
I would like to help, as I need an exhaust, but my Elan is an S4.

If enough people want an S4 or Plus Two style then I'm sure I can get Miles to make 10 of them even if I have to hold a couple in stock; so ROLL-UP for ALL VERSIONS though the Sprint is so noisy there's isn't any point having a MS version, is there!

Again, if people are happy to pay their huge packing, shipping and insurance from the UK then I'll take orders.
I'll publish a running tally of requests por encourage les autres and some people may prefer to PM me.
So far: Early pattern 3 (including mine and dgym's), S4 1.

I'll leave this request open for the weekend but there hasn't been any additions to the above during the week.
Looks like I'll have to get my box patched and then revert to stainless when it disintegrates - horror!

Being an old git I don't subscribe to Facebook but I'll PM you some contact information if you would care to post something yourself.
I had thought to, and will, contact a few Lotus forums on the same basis. I have a 400 long list of Elans admitted to on this forum including 100 for Type 26s so perhaps St Wilkins is correct that there isn't much demand.

Have you tried to get hold of a Genuine Manifold? Last time i looked Christopher Neil still sold Mild steel manifolds.
Also just thinking on, a Friend of mine had a Mild steel exhaust made locally a few years ago with bigger bore manifold etc (http://www.jpexhausts.co.uk/) may be worth asking if they made a jig?

It seems Christopher Neil stopped trading after a tragic accident in Sept 2013 involving a favourite son. But I'll keep searching for them.
Thanks for the link to J P Exhausts, I'll ring them tomorrow.
Thanks also to dgym who has made a Facebook entry for me on this subject.

Sadly, the family's reaction to their loss is to stop selling Lotus cars. All evidence of the Lotus brand has been removed from Christopher Neils and all cars have been sold on. But they are still offering parts and service, as i say i went in about August last year where Don was still there selling Lotus Parts and they had an Elan Manifold hung up.

They seem to be selling cars too since June last year, I have discovered.
