Has anyone tried using Accuspark ignition leads? These are advertised on Ebay.

Yep, i have some on my Sprint.

IMHO they are a bit light weight (Not the best quality and quite easy to nick) but there cheap and the ends are well fitted (Unlike some i've used in the past), mine are routed the long way round inside a heat proof sheath and have not caused me any problems. I just bought 4 long 8mm Universal plug leads and a HT lead then trimed to exactly the right length i wanted, tbh they where a doodle to fit i just ran an 8mm drill down the cap holes and they fit nice and snug.

Just one thing to note is when assembling the leads into the cap its worth pushing some thing like a paper clip etc into the leads carbon core to give the end a bit of stability as its very soft.

I always planned on replacing the Accuspark leads with some Magnecor leads but tbh they where a quarter of the price and work fine so i'm going to stick with Accuspark leads until they give me a reason to change them.

BTW i forgot to mention, when your tightening the Cap screws don't go too far. When i assembled mine there was little resistance against the screw as i tightened it and i managed to go straight through the lead which put a high spot in the cap :)

Yes, I bought a set a couple of years ago from Ebay. They were the wrong length and at best I could only get one (or maybe two) to fit by the shortest possible route. Although labelled Lotus I suspected they were A series.

I contacted the seller with the problem, gave measurements of my old leads and in fairness they were very quick to respond, so no complaints at all.

In the end though I just felt they were flimsy and went back to copper cored leads with suppressed NGK caps. Nothing wrong with the leads they supplied, I just didn't have a lot of confidence in them for some reason - put it down to personal idiosyncrasy.
