Are coils like this better than the standard item:

Hi Vernon

I believe it is a fairly standard 12V 3 ohm coil so should work with normal 12V non-ballested ignition system with points or transistor assisted modules
price seems about right

I just bought the exact same coil for my Sprint from Pegasus Racing in the U.S., but have yet to install it. That's a good price you have there.

I'm reasonably sure that he did, because the batteries are easy to find but other parts are more difficult.
