Interested to hear some of the collective wisdom on this block, and its price.( GBP = NZ$2 ).
More out of curiosity really, and a desire to put a little bit of knowledge away for the future.

Its alloy, I don't think its Cosworth, Jennings or Kam. The grade 8 cap screws look out of place to me.

Is it an old block or something currently produced. More than the grade 8 bolts, I find the non-square main caps out of place. I also like to use studs and nuts anywhere I can on alloy castings. I also like studs for main caps, head to block and rocker gear (non-Elan).

I don't care for the way it has been machined, lots of passes on a CNC mill with small diameter end mills or fly cutters. It looks like it was done on a machine without enough X and Y travel to clean up the ends of the block without repositioning on the table.

I saw a similar block for sale on trademe last year might be the same one or somebody is manufacturing them in NZ
Not sure how the asking price compares with this one from the US but you would have to add transport and loacal taxes for one shipped from overseas
