Forgot to add that yes it has vents in the A pillars and two bonnet releases.

It would fit if, as Brian surmised above, it was built from two or more cars (an S3 and S4) and possibly a replacement chassis.

Probably not what you wanted to hear, but since Elans are really just kit cars at heart it should not be a bother if it was well done and you and your wife enjoy the car.
