Tensioner Bracket

Hi Guys,
When I disassembled the engine, looking from the top of the timing chain, the tensioner sprocket was not very right.
The sprocket looked like not in the same plane of the camshaft sprockets, it twisted a little bit which I have no idea is it correct as it's my first twincam disassembly.
After taking out the bracket, it looks bent when viewed from the front. See attached phote, is it correct?
Other parts are all ok and no machine work is required, just all new bearings, rings, new gaskets & seals and new waterpump.

Yes, I have one too. I don't remember where it came from, I may have bought it for the bolt that holds the sprocket on. I just keep it in the junk parts pile. Buy another and get on with the rebuild.

No, it's been bent.
This can happen when replacing the head, and not ensuring that the tensioner has been swung in to clear the timing case opening

- verify that the spacer on the jackshaft is fitted....Sorry- stupid suggestion..Guess the sprocket could not fit without it....Would foul the waterpump backplate
