Hi there,
Does anyone have a torque curve for the sprint cam shaft? I have found a QED 420 curve in the archives just want to compare the difference... unless anyone can tell me...
cheers

This is what I have in my archive.
Clearly QED did some work on the head to get these results. The normal Big Valve engine produces only about 110 bhp and 100 lbs ft of torque.

Brian,
Thanks for that... much appreciated.
And from what I can see the 42 produces far more torque from say 3000rpm and is only a little less upto that point...
cheers

Mark,
This is an interesting comparison between Weber and Dellorto carb set-ups:
I hope to start-up my QED 420 headed engine sometime next week. I plan to do a 500 mile set of running-in trips over the following week and then get it on the rolling road. I'm interested to see the results.
I am running Jenvey throttle bodies and not carbs so the comparrison will be even more interesting.

Interesting results. I have DHLA's on my Sprint. Any idea of what the jet sizes etc were?
cheers

A call to QED may be the best option.
