Timing cover

If anyone wants a timing cover from Dave Bean, he's just gotten in a supply of the cartridge type timing covers that have been missing for so long. They called me last night, and they expect to ship next week after final testing. I can't wait!!!

Can't wait to get my engine back together. I've driven my Elan just 2 miles in the last 15 years, and that was 2 years ago. Two miles was just far enough to find out that my front cover/water pump assembly bled into the crankcase  . I planned to strip the engine to inspect it over the winter 2007-2008 but then slipped on an icy sidewalk and messed up my knee, so the project again went on hold. Now completion looks at hand!

So there, I made you wade through my tale of woe, Paddy! :D :D
