A few months ago it was mentioned that timing covers were in short supply, as if by magic one appears on Ebay and fetches a million quid then there are about twenty a week being sold from then on in.
Anyone noticed the same with + 2 sidelights?. It was mentioned here how rare they are and low and behold there's been loads on ever since.
Will someone please start a thread on how rare windscreens, racks and seat belts are and front moustaches for that matter so I can complete all the bits I'm after.
Thank you,
Kenny

Every owner watches Satan's Swap Meet in the hope of scoring that unobtainium component they might need someday, right?
Many owners have vast piles of such unobtainium components.
When you see something you bought for $20 and haven't had any use for in 10 years going for $200, might you decide it's time to sell off yours to the next highest bidder?
Exactly.

To be honest I'm glad they all rush to punt their items when the first one sells for squillions...........the tenth one usually goes for peanuts
And I must add that if a bloke is desperate for a bit I have and it doesn't stand me the earth then he can have it for a sensible price or what I paid for it. I've bought and sold needed pieces through this forum for non profit both ways and dealt with some great guys, but there have been a few who have thought their wares were genuinely "unobtanium"
