What fan belt do I need for a lotus elan +2 S130 (1972) UK version?

I'm afraid that depends ed. In my ignorance I changed my 17ACR alternator when it failed, for a more modern one with better output. Trouble is the dimensions are different and I had to alter the adjusting bracket to get enough adjustment AND I had to change the length of the fanbelt. Easiest thing to do is find a friendly retailer (like the one I have here in Scotland) that will lend you a selection of belts to try on the engine until you get one that fits. When you find that buy 2! and take a note of the part no..

the one i'm running at the moment (68 plus2 with alternator fitted) is a bosch7633 avx10 *785La 250,basically a 78.5cm toothed belt

Seams a 788 belt is the one that fits my +2 S130/4 (1972). Thanks for the advice
