As per my previous post we had this & it was the needle valve sticking shut even if it is new it could be faulty I would replace it as it took us ages to find we removed the carb tops on the side of the road when it cut out to find the float chambers dry

I am away helping at a race meeting - when I return I will be checking out the float settings and will include the needle vales as suggested.

To check if it's a fuel level issue you could just run the car it the engine stops. remove the jet cover and a main jet from each carb and check the fuel level in the jet holder. It should be 25mm from the top but it should be obvious if there no fuel in the carb.

I use a pointed screw driver marked at 25mm and insert in down the well, with a light down the well you can see the shimmer when it comes into contact with the fuel.
