Peak Power and Torque

Thanks Rohan, that makes perfect sense to me. So really a cam change with higher lift is key to releasing that last bit of BHP to compliment the larger valves ( I realise that 1.4 exhausts are a bit overkill for a road engine). The engine was built by Bill Bannister at Bamber bridge in the Uk on the spec supplied by Richard Winter who preps Europa’s for the HSSC series. He really just built me a spec to HSSC regs for road use! The car had been laid up for a over 12 years due to some health and finance issues, but last year I got it running again and rolling rd tuned for the first time. I believe that with my current spec (Were it able to rev higher safely) It would be more suited towards track work! I guess Richard thought as it wasn’t a true competition engine the standard crank would suffice! Thanks again
