water pump removal

To seperate i would drill holes into the Cast Impellor next to the Pump Shaft. Then split Impellor. Remove from front the Special Wire Clip. Use small puller to pull Flange off Shaft.
Warm up and it should all dismantle.

The first one was for my tall block project , from QED in 2003.

The second was from Burton in April 2012, price £96.69, and the third (for a new engine) also from Burton in Jan 2016, still at £96.69

Astonished just now to see the price was still the same after 4 years !

Just a reminder: the timing case will normally require some machining to get it exactly level with the block deck
