Alternative Vacuum Source?

I am not sure I am afraid.I suspect the ones that are out there are probably set up for modern negative earth configurations.

Alternators with vacuum pumps usually require an oil supply and drain to make the pump work. Probably so much fabrication work to be rather impractical: you'd need a high pressure feed from the main oil gallery, and a return to the side of the block or to the sump above the normal oil level.
