Timesert or keysert is to be used when or if the Wire Insert gets damaged. In other words a second chance.
If you find when winding in Wire Inserts it's a little dry you can use the special grease which is a mix of lanolin and chromate. A yellow coloured assembly lube.
Make sure the top of the Insert is a 1/4 of a turn down in hole. Located correctly.
To remove Tang use a twist drill bit that just slides down inside Insert and give it a smart hit to break off the Tang.
Look down inside to bottom to check Insert has not jumped the last thread.
