Head ID Please

Thanks, I have an "H" engine so was expecting to see an H on the head but looking at that photo it is a very faint scribed letter so could just have disappeared with time when the head has been cleaned/painted etc. I'll try to gently abrade the surface to see if I can see any marking on it.

The stamping of the mark 2 sand cast heads plug well boss did not start until late in the production. Many heads will have nothing stamped on the boss. When did the stamping start is an interesting question I must give some thought to
