My Stainless exhaust is similar to yours Matt.
my original bracket did not line up with the hole in the exhaust.
I made a new bracket with four holes instead of two and inside I glassed in a 5mm thick piece of aluminium with four tapped holes for the bolts to come in from the outside. Making the whole arrangement a lot stronger.
This then lined up with the exhaust hole and I bought an original hanger from one of the usual suspects.
For the front part of the rear silencer, I made a bracket from aluminium and used two Powerflex original "Mini" exhaust cotton reels to mount the exhaust to.
The original mounting had always bothered me. especially mounting that rear bracket to such thin fibreglass. In my case it was practically worn through and just about to break off. It's much stronger now and after 28 years of ownership I finally have an exhaust that does not wobble around.

Hi Jim, I recently splashed out on a Tony Thompson big bore SS system, looks and sounds amazing, is very well made, but does protrude a bit.

Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.

Not sure what you are asking. I'm just showing a pic of a Lotus with the Supertrapp muffler that I found online.Quart Meg Miles wrote:No S2, Fred?

I thought you might have treated yourself to it and traded in, that's all.

Looks good!
Mrs. Veg has suggested that she thinks that a silencer with dual slash-cut tips would look good on my car. I think it would as long as it was made that way and not a tacked-on accessory tip.
