Nice picture of the Elfin, I always thought they were so pretty, but hard to get hold of in the UK back then and just a bit out of my price bracket, but did run and race Ginetta G4 and G12, so good to see one amongst the line up.
Any details on the engine welcomed and also noted the three valve Martin, how did you rate that against the 1750?

2Cams, Finally got to checking the engine codes on the block which are 711M6015 B-A, so I don't think its an AX block unless you know of any other identification marks for these South African blocks?

It's just a regular late crossflow block in that case. It's really all you need. An AX block is just for bragging rights unless you want something that's overbored.
