Cooling - best way?

vince, you may find it doesn't get hot enough to open the cap (like mine) there doesn't make much difference. Yep i agree, not sure why but a quality alloy rad always some how look right :) plus since work bought a new Tig i have a new found respect for good looking Alloy welds ;)

Actually that is another problem.
The temp gauge hardly moves. I've earthed the lead and it swings to max so the gauge seems OK. A temperature probe shows 66 degrees! Surely it is getting hotter than that?

Funny thing is, although the 'stat is 75 degrees, the whole system is warm all over.
