Cylinder Head Refubishment -Who?

PostPost by: adigra » Thu Feb 19, 2015 6:38 pm

I can only guess the reasons for my poor experience, but, based on many good reports by others, I am assuming Leslie is correct and someone less experienced in the shop assembled my engine as the mistakes were so basic. I wrote to Paul Exon, but he never replied, at which point I decided to cut my losses and not dwell over it and have someone else rectify the issues. He might not lose sleep over it either, but he has lost a customer.

Unbelieveable !!! What a complete lack of customer care, but I would not have let it go quite so easily myself.

I have a number of twin cam heads that need work, and Exon was someone who I would have considered to use, for that work, but not now. Any firm can make a mistake, but it is how they deal with, and put right that mistake, that can make or break them. A good reputation takes a long time to build, but is lost very quickly, and his response to your issues Adi, or lack of, speak volumes. NO THANKS.

Update.
In the end I used Cylinderhead Services in Northampton and I can recommend them.
