Crankshaft oil gallery plug set screws ( 1/2" in this case ) - Loctite 243 (temperature range to 150 C ) or Loctite 272 ( temp range to 230 C but 272 requires application of heat to release which is OK by me) ?

You want a little bit of your prefered sealant all around the 90 degree angle of the seal to ally housing. Do not put any near the spring thingy / in the cup. That effectively glues the seal part into the ally housing part. Sorry, I do not have the know how to put an arrow on, but Brian will be along shortly to shoot some arrows, as soon as he get up
