Loosening the fan belt

Thankyou so much for that, a picture speaks a thousand words.

I guess if there were water pump problems on the pre X/flows the later replacement pumps were fitted.

Or looking at it another way the earlier pumps were superceded by the later one with a better bearing and probably seal arrangement but Lotus couldnt/wouldnt change their tooling.

I guess that we are lucky that replacements are still available.
