It looks like the smaller alloy washer could be for the oil pump to filter bowl bolt.

That's what I thought, but it is too small. I will post a picture. Thanks,
Simon

This it?

The attachment Washer.jpg is no longer available

Richard

That must be a typo if the plug 9) is 1/4 bsp so 8) 3/4 bsp washer ...might not seal. It is probably copied from 7) 3/4" expansion plug

Below is a picture - looking for a home for the larger copper crush washer.
Shown are the sump plug and filter bowl bolt.

update...

I was just abot to throw the box (Payen EF881) away and notice that it lists contents on the front.. Oops! Well it was face down with gaskets in it.

Distributor to block (O-ring)
Oil Filter bolt ( Small Alloy washer)
Sump Drain Plug (Small Copper)

and wait for it...
Fuel Lift Pum Bowl - Looks like Gary was right!

The Large Copper and alloy washers must have been from other kits.

Is the petrol pump "gasket" impregnated to turn it into a "seal" for immersion in fuel?

Hi Roger

I am old and I do forget, remember things that are not always the way it was, and other forms of mind misrepresentation. Its been a long time since taking things apart and some things just seem like they were not important in the heat of taking things apart. I didn't have a camera early on and when I got one the simple things seem so simple why would I waste a dollar or what ever to get a photo that I would loose? Don Tingle was the person I believe that pointed out that the fuel pump bowl gasket and the oil cap gasket were the same and used interchangeably (I think :) ) .

I have dug out all of the brake hard lines and am having a dejavu of What the fuc% was that from moment. At least 6 or 7 Elan chassis and some Cortina tossed into the mix, RHD, LHD dual boosters, Single boosters no boosters. So far I Identified the right front caliper to 4/5 way union Right rear caliper to 3 way union and the front 4/ 5 way union to rear 3 way union. The 4/5 way union to left front caliper.I have one rusty Left rear caliper hard line to 3 way union and then there are all of those lines that I never used that are from the master to the booster or duel master to dual boosters, LHD and RHD , THe RHD should be easy as its only a single booster. I will get a photo but I need to go across town to my trailer to see if I can add to the confusion... :D

Got to keep you folks laughing you know.
