Frank,
Look here for radios.
http://motors-parts.shop.ebay.co.uk/Oth ... 0&_salic=3
The radio you refer to in the photos is a Radiomobile brand and comes in various model numbers eg, 1080, 1075, 1095x etc. They come in negative ground only or selectable for positive or negative. They tune for both medium and long wave (AM), no FM. They can however be converted to FM stereo with IPod connection.
Colin.

Jeremy,
Thanks for reminding me/us of your very interesting article.
A fine suggestion, which I'll be having a go at.
It's just that at ?38 a gallon, the Alphi is quite expensive to just dump on the floor (bio- degradable!), and I'd really like to save myself the expense.
It just looks awfully contaminated.
I sort of think this is down to the standby Rad I used whilst the original was being repaired, I don't remember flushing it through, so this may be the culprit of the excessive rust, methinks!
I'm going to drain the system, trying to salvage the original mixture, then:
Use an anti freeze flushing solution for a couple of times, to hopefully clean the system down?
Then refill with the recovered Alphi, or replace with new Blue anti freeze.
I know there are several threads about which one to use - that's why I choose Fernox Alphi, but will probably revert to 'standard' antifreeze in the near future and remember this as a 'lesson learnt'.
As you can imagine, I was well p---ed off with the guy who checked my rad out originally, as it was the last thing I needed to remove and refit, after only the first 5 minutes of engine run !
I also note your comment on hose clips all being present and correct.
Thanks,
Phil.
P.s. Q: where's your recouperator bottle positioned ?
I have mine in the standard position in the nose, is this too far for the recoup to work effectively?

I just wanted to post on here so I can easily find this thread again in the future. I love the LED lamp up the middle of the dash screw, it is a fantastic idea and I am going to have a go at doing this on mine. before I have a guess.... can you tell me what size hole you drilled into the screw please as this will also dictate the size of the LED. Cheers.
