Head gasket failure....

Thanks to all for good advice. I think the re-torquing procedure from the Stag sounds like a good plan. I heard back from my engine man and the head was 3 thou warped in the middle (where it blew the gasket).
To do list:
1.Having head skimmed today, picking it up tomorrow.
2. Fitting it with a Cometic racing gasket
3.Torquing and re-torquing as per Jon?s Triumph method
4.Not using any wellseal or other sticky stuff on the mating surfaces
5. Enjoy and maintain my favorite toy until something else breaks

There: humpty dumpty is back together again. Runs fine. Let's hope it stays that way for a while. it was 4thou off in the middle. One of the cam studs snapped when I was putting it together again, but luckily can out and I had a spare stud. Man! I am ready to use this toy now, it has a lower utility/service ratio than a jet fighter plane... But almost as fun (I guess)
