Fitting Engine

Hi, just a couple of photos fitting the engine.
Nothing clever to see, just use a electric hoist and sling

Does the sling go all the way under the engine?

Hi,
Yes, that is just one continuous sling and both sides sit together on the shallow side of the sump - not the reservoir bit.

I see you fitted the carbs before installing the engine. Did this pose any problems ? I didn't put the carbs on till after the engine was installed.

Hi,
No it wasn't a problem with the carbs fitted but I should point out I have a removable cross brace - there is another post with photos of that.
