Elan +2S Cylinder Head Rebuild UK

Planning to carry out a full rebuild on my 1970 plus +S over the winter. The engine was fully rebuilt back in the 80’s but now in need of a refurbishment. Most of the work I can undertake but the cylinder head is something I’d like to have done professionally.

Therefore looking for any recommendations for specialists based UK Midlands.

In Tamworth, James Wiles is an ex John Smirthwaite (JSR) employee, so he knows Twin Cams inside out. He fully rebuilt the engine of my Elan S3 S/E , just before I bought it back 3 years ago. Can report it's the best performing of 4 Elan engines I've had over the years.

Do you mean fit new Valve Seats and new Cam Follower Sleeves.
Or just Valve Guides.
For sure you need someone who uses Dry Ice/ Liquid Nitrogen.

Yes the head will need guides and possibly valve seats, not sure on anything else until it’s stripped down.
