Lotus Marques Parts

PostPost by: JonnyPlus2 » Mon Apr 17, 2023 6:41 pm

Hi All;
Does anyone have any experience with Lotus Marques Parts? I'm thinking of getting their crankshaft sprocket and their oil pick-up pipe and strainer assembly. Thanks.

How was the quality and fit of the parts?

Most of the parts are from the same suppliers in the UK and USA used by the usual specialists in the UK and USA with all the usual caveats that apply. So buying parts out of Australia to be shipped back to the UK or USA only makes sense in a limited number of cases

Steve Taylor at Lotus Marques commissions the manufacture of quite a few of the parts he sells. You can't get them elsewhere. The aluminium block drain tube and aluminium cam cover half moon seals are but two examples. I've always found Steve helpful and good to deal with.

I dont think there is any real difference between what I said i.e. buys most from usual UK and USA suppliers and what you said in commissons quite a few from local Australian suppliers, They are just different ways to express the same thing. PM me if you want my opinion on Lotus Marques
