Thermostatic sandwich plate with oil temperature sender

Is there such a thing?
I have a non thermostatic sandwich plate at present ( TGASP1 ) for the oil cooler pick ups but the oil remains a bit on the cool side ( and takes longer to warm up).
Think Automotive are producing a new billet one ( OTSPB1 ) but the oil temperature sender is on the engine side and I don't think there's enough room for it.

Any alternatives?

I have similar set up to yours, and when winter rolls around, I have a very light sheet metal blanking plate that slips over the serck oil cooler to prevent air passing through.

I had a quick look at that sandwich plate. I am not sure it has a temp sender port - I think that is where the thermostatic bulb fits - Mocal sell them separately which is a nice feature as they are replaceable.

There seems to be every possible combination of thermostatic sandwich plate and remote thermostat available.

I would imagine it is possible to come up with a homebrew arrangement using a remote thermostat and a sandwich plate where the thermostatic bulb is replaced by a sender. FWIW, all of the oil temp senders I have seen in competition cars are fitted into the sump.

That first link shows the 1/8" NTP plug opposite the chrome thermostatic assembly, in other words, pointing straight at the block.
I think I have about 10mm of clearance that side. Not enough for a sender.
I appreciate your observation that most senders are in the sump.
I think I'll await the end of the season for engine rebuild time and get the engine builder to stick a tap in the sump.
A blanking sheet ( duct tape!) could suffice if the weather is cold.
I 'll keep looking for an all in one solution, perhaps with the sender pointing backwards.

I have the Think Automotive sandwich plate with built in thermostat installed on my 1969 S4, it's not really any different to the old non thermostatic version I had before. The only issue with these sandwich plates, both types, is tightening the adaptor bolt that holds the sandwich plate to the oil pump, you can't get a socket or a spanner on it, I used a toolmakers clamp.
