S4 twin box exhaust silencer dimensions

My Sprint was fitted with an S4 mild steel twin exhaust silencer from new. The tail pipes had corroded to an unsightly appearance so I have sawn them off. I managed to get two SS pipes which fit perfectly on the original stubs, however they are too long and don’t have the original 45 degree chop off.
So, what I need is the overall tail pipe length from the silencer box to the tip of the pipes if someone could oblige I will be most grateful.

On my twin box 'silencers' (they don't silence much!) the tailpipes are 26.5cm long from the junction with the box to the tip of the tailpipe - that's the longer bit of the 45 degree slash.

If, when you get to cutting metal, that seems a little long and the pipes stick out past the rear of the car, yes, that's the way they are.

Every day's a school day on LotusElan.net My S4 twin silencer (stainless) also has 26.5cm pipes, but they're straight cut at the ends. My car came as a box of bits basket case so I would never have known about the 45 degree cut. I have an old photo of the car and yes, they do appear to be too long.
