Burton Water Pump Installation Concerns

Just received my water pump kit from Burton and all the components look first rate. However, disappointed that there were no installation or guidance instructions included. Checking past Dave Bean Water Pump Kit experiences in the forum, there was no paperwork included either. Sent a request to Burton a couple of days ago and so far silence.

I am now going to pull the twin cam from my Lotus Cortina to take to my engine builder and I would think he will be able to figure out how to make the changeover. However, any tricks, hints or things to watch out for from any of you who have recently made the change would be appreciated.

FWIW, while 2cams70's suggestion will work, for a more focused search, you can force Google to search a single domain - I use this facility regularly for lotuselan.net. Type the following into the Google search bar:

site:lotuselan.net burton water pump fitment issues

... and Google will only search this site.

Many thanks guys for the wealth of information and especially to twincams70 for the details posted. Will help my engine builder a lot.

Will keep you keep you advised as to what we find working with this latest kit that Burton has provided to see if they have made any improvements.
