Recently received my engine back following a complete re build by the awesome Craig beck. you might be interested in looking over the figures and graphs , i know i always am at others
It looks absolutely amazing and brand new , my wish was for street engine with about 145bhp .. ended up with 149bhp.
and 126 ft/lb with a nice curve.. should be pretty exciting once back in the print .
Previously i had se head & cams running running stromburgs . now sporting webber head & new 40 webber carbs with craigs street camshafts.

That’s good! - and particularly since he plots the curve down to 2,500RPM. I’d be interested in what jet and Venturi settings were used for the carbs. It would be great if you could share that information

Yes, the details of your carb set up would be interesting, particularly when you get it dialed in for the road.

Hi Andy,
Your new Weber 40`s are probably 151 version which will not be in that book, although I think that the only major difference is the air bypass system on the modern ones and most of the rest will be similar.
Loads of them on ebay, but a bit pricey for me. I am thinking charity shop prices.

My engine has just arrived at Craig Beck for the fast road treatment. I’ve asked for 130-135bhp at the engine, but 145 would be even better.
Please could I ask about reliability 2 years down the line?
