Wrong valve cover for a ‘69?

The valve cove that came with the car looks incorrect to me for a Stromberg set up. Shouldn’t it have mounting points for the accelerator cable?

Thanks for the more experienced eyes on it.

Yours looks exactly like mine did. I believe the federal Stromberg were painted orange; mostly repainted red now. Mine has the mount for the throttle; two holes on a flat spot. There was never anything attached there. I can't tell you whether you should have on or mine is just an artifact of what was at hand at the build.

My UK spec Stromberg car has a flat area cast in the head that the throttle cable bracket attaches to.
