Can someone advise on what main caps are FIA approved please?
I know the period engine used the round main caps.
Are steel caps allowed if they are round??(round ones NOT the square steel ones)
Building a GTS car and don't want to waste to much time or money!!!
I also note that some uprated cast round caps are mentioned in some FIA papers, anyone have info on these please?

Yes I had seen those thanks!
SAS who make the new heads also now do a period correct block and similar heavier duty main caps.
Does anyone know who makes the FIA approved main caps marked with 95.1 (I think that's what I have read!!)
Would like to fit round steel caps if they are legal, anyone??

Steel round caps are available from QED, you should check with them regarding FIA legality.
